Installation Note: Most aftermarket aluminum cylinder heads (including our Stealth heads, Edelbrock Performer RPM heads and others) drill the valve cover bolt holes at an angle which is perpendicular (90 degrees or "straight") to the valve cover rail. Factory Chrysler heads drilled the valve cover bolt holes at approximately a 15 degree angle so they are slightly "tilted" relative to the valve cover rail. We have designed these valve covers with the bolt holes drilled "straight", so they will fit aftermarket heads without any modifications. When using these covers on factory heads, it will be necessary to install your valve cover studs, then bend them slightly after installation until they are perpendicular (straight up and down) in relation to the valve cover rail.

Painting them the same color as your car gives an awesome matching style that many showcars are doing these days. They can also be painted with black wrinkle finish if desired. If you really want to get serious, our new 100% USA MADE fabricated aluminum fabricated valve covers are the EXACT SAME covers used on pro-stock and other professional racing classes. Normally sold by the high dollar fabrication companies for $400 or more, we're now making them in huge volume and by doing this we've been able to bring down the price considerably. Fully tig (heliarc) welded from aluminum sheet, at just under 3 1/2" tall, these will clear most any high lift cams and bulky rocker shaft holddowns.

These use an incredibly beefy 3/8" thick solid billet flange, AND after the covers are welded, we fully CNC MILL the entire flange to make sure it's as flat and straight as an arrow. It's rare that even the $400+ sets will do this, usually they just lay them on a belt surfacer. Reduced head diameter valve cover bolts, such as allen or 12pt heads are recommended. These covers come without any breather holes, to allow you to use a simple holesaw or punch to position the breathers and/or oil fill caps exactly where you need them.

These are every bit as well made as they look in the pictures. We GUARANTEE you'll be impressed with these babies! Please note: Sheet aluminum is very soft! Even sliding it across a table will cause very small scratches. We try to be as careful as possible during manufacture, but occasionally there will be some small surface scratches on some of the covers resulting from normal handling during the manufacturing process. When the sheet aluminum is bent in a brake, sometimes the brake will leave a small line where it pushed up against the aluminum to shape it. This is stuff you would find with any fabricated aluminum parts due to the soft nature of aluminum. The vast majority of our customers would never give any of this a second thought, but we have had some people who are VERY particular. If you consider yourself very, very particular about this kind of stuff, we would recommend you have someone either powder coat these covers, or polish them to a mirror finish. This looks great and will remove any trace of surface imperfections.

This ARP black oxide valve cover stud kit is designed to work with our 200-1052 fabricated valve covers which have a 3/8" rail, as well as most cast aluminum covers. Using studs for the valve covers allows the gasket to be properly positioned while the valve cover is guided into position. Bullet nosed studs allow for easy installation of covers and easy threading of nuts. Special reduced flange diameter 12 point nuts help to give the most possible clearance in tight fit situations. Includes 12 studs, nuts and washers. Finished in black oxide for good looks and corrosion resistance.

Shown above is our new fully CNC machined billet breather. This is about the nicest breather you'll find anywhere. Machined from a solid piece of billet aluminum, then polished to a mirror-like finish, these look great with our fabbed valve covers above. Includes ball milling for great looks. Shown above is our valve cover/breather grommet. These act as a gasket between the breather and the valve cover, and reduce the diameter from 1 1/4" to 1" which allows the breather (or other accessories requiring a 1" hole) to fit perfectly in the valve cover. Quantity 1 per package.
